Boxes, boxes and more boxes
This is a glimpse of what the house looks like after we cleared a few boxes away. We have our work cut out for us. the next few weeks will be filled with unpacking, decluttering, sorting and donating all of our Stuff. Where does it all come from??? Steve and I have been slowly adopting the mindset of "Less is More", but somehow we always end up with more and not less. Hmm, I think we need to re-evaluate! Winter Storm Advisory
We didn't think the sea frieght shipment was actually going to make it on Thursday since the weather was so trecherous, and they hadn't called to confirm. They were driving from NYC. When they delivered the air freight, they had cancelled 2 days in a row due to the weather, conditions less than this.
So, at 9am they show up a the door and wonder why we were all running around like crazy!
Here is a picture of the truck completely stuck in our driveway. Then a neighbor came by and helped pull them out thankfully! Poor guys had to unlead 200 boxes/furniture from the big truck onto the small truck and down into a our driveway and into the house. They earned thier pay that day!
Fun with Boxes
Our sea frieght arrived on thursday last week, bringing most of our household from Camelot. It's been long awaited since we have been without much of it since November! The boys just kept saying "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas"!! A couple weeks too late, it sure would have saved alot of money, had I known they would be satisfied with their old toys.
Here they are "helping me unpack the kitchen".
Pucker up
Caitlyn was helping me make dinner the other night and decided she wanted to taste the lemon we just squeezed the juice out of. She actually wanted the unused half, but thought that would be too shocking!
Ofcourse, the faces she made were hilarious especially since she kept going back for more, and ofcourse, I wasn't quick enough to capture the best faces. But you get the idea.
